Still Wired After Walks?

You walk your dog, play fetch, and give them toys… but they still come home full of energy.

They bark, chew, dig, pace, or run around the house like nothing happened. It can make you feel tired, stuck, and worried that you are not doing enough.

But your dog is not bad, and you are not a bad owner. Many smart dogs simply need more than walking. Their body moves, but their brain still wants a job.

Give Your Dog A Backyard Job

The Cuddalo Herding Ball gives your dog something better to do with all that energy.Instead of picking it up and chewing it, your dog has to push, chase, steer, and control the ball.

This helps them use their body and brain at the same time. For high-energy dogs, this feels like real work.

With short supervised play outside, your dog can release energy in a healthy way and feel more calm, happy, and fulfilled at home.

    She loves it

Thought she might pop it right away but no. This thing is amazing. My pup always wanted the yoga ball so I got her this. Just big enough that she can’t pop it and durable enough for her to grab the tag and not destroy it. Best thing I ever got my Catahoula/ Pitty mix.

    Amazing for my dog

Absolutely worth it. This herding ball has been a game changer for my dog’s energy and engagement. It’s big, durable, and holds up really well even with rough play. My dog stays entertained way longer compared to regular toys, especially outside. The material feels solid and doesn’t deflate easily, and the size is perfect for pushing, chasing, and herding instincts. Setup was simple and it came with everything needed to get started.

Keep it inflated, and it’ll keep!

My husky goes full sprint with this ball like it’s his new job. It helps him burn so much energy in the yard, and he finally gets tired out. Just make sure it’s fully inflated so there are no loose edges to bite.

Paws for FAQs

Is the Cuddalo Herding Ball a chew toy ?

No. The Cuddalo Herding Ball is made for pushing, chasing, and herding — not chewing. Your dog should move it with their nose, chest, and body, not bite or carry it.

Can I leave my dog alone with it ?

No. This is a supervised outdoor play toy. Stay nearby while your dog plays, especially during the first sessions, so you can teach them to push instead of chew.

What if my dog tries to bite it?

Make sure the ball is fully inflated so it feels firm and smooth. If there are loose edges, your dog may try to bite them. Always supervise play and guide your dog back to pushing, not chewing.

Will this replace daily walks?

It can help on busy days. Cuddalo can tire your dog out fast because it gives them a real job: push, chase, and control the ball. Walks are still good, but Cuddalo gives your dog the brain work that walks can miss.

What if my dog doesn't take to it ?

Some dogs engage within 30 seconds. Others need 2–3 sessions for the herding instinct to kick in.

If after a fair trial your dog really isn't interested, our 30-day guarantee has you covered — send it back for a full refund, no hassle.

What size should I order ?

The ball must be too large for your dog to pick up in their mouth — that's what triggers the push-and-herd instinct instead of chewing. When in doubt, always size up.

  • Small (18"): dogs under 30 lbs — Corgis, Mini Aussies, Shelties
  • Medium (22"): 30–60 lbs — Border Collies, Aussies, Blue Heelers
  • Large (25.5"): 60+ lbs — Labs, Goldens, Shepherds, Huskies

Will it hurt my dog's teeth or nose ?

No. Unlike hard plastic herding balls (which have well-documented issues with broken teeth and abraded noses), the Cuddalo™ is a fabric-covered inflatable — soft on gums and muzzles while staying firm enough to trigger the chase instinct .
